COATES WILLOW CHARCOAL

A drawing essential. Coates Willow Charcoal sticks are made of natural charcoal, and are available in four thicknesses from 2mm to 14mm.

FABER-CASTELL PITT COMPRESSED CHARCOAL

Manufactured by compressing a soot and carbon mixture to produce more intense and smooth line than natural charcoal. Can be blended with a pastel brush or paper stump. These round sticks (7 x 83mm) are available in 5 degrees – softer grades for larger areas, harder grades for line work.

CRETACOLOR CHUNKY CHARCOAL AND CHUNKY GRAPHITE

Big, dense sticks of graphite and charcoal. With a width of 18mm, these sticks are especially soft and offer deep, black strokes.
